Nomination Process
How members can nominate candidates and how admins review and approve them.
During an election's nomination period, eligible members can be nominated for any open position.
Submitting a nomination (members)
Open the election
Navigate to Elections & Voting in the member portal and open the active election.
Click Nominate
Click Nominate on the position you want to apply for or nominate someone else for.
Complete nomination form
If nominating yourself, submit a brief bio and statement. If nominating another member, search for and select them.
Submit
Submit the nomination. It will be reviewed by the association administrator before appearing on the ballot.
Reviewing nominations (admins)
In the admin panel under Elections → [Election Name] → Candidates, you'll see all submitted nominations. Review each one and click Approve or Reject. Only approved candidates appear on the voting ballot.
